This scene shows the old man kicking off a fuss on the tree stump, because he is in a very bad mood about pushing the rock all the way home. This scene is supposed to portray that the old man is so angry with pushing the rock that he prays for death, as he would rather be dead than push the rock any further. After the man has been kicking off for a while, he looks down and sighs, but suddenly he looks up again as a sound grabs his attention, but what could it be!
The camera in this scene is a lot like the camera in the previous scene, only at a much lower angel. The viewpoint of the camera moves initially just to add some extra flow with the animation, but as the old man calms down a bit and lets out his sigh, the camera itself turns around to show the viewer what was making the noise the old man heard.
The animation behind this scene was very simple to make. All that I had to do was to auto key about 4 or 5 key frames in which the old man's arms and legs flailed about a bit and his head moved from side to side. Once I had this basic animation all I had to do was to copy and paste the frames along until I had him moving for the amount of time I wanted. After this I just had to key frame his arms slowing down and eventually stopping, and his head lowering down as he let out his sigh. Finally I had to key frame the head again just to show him looking up very quickly and then turning round to look to his side.
